Tim is a former EDA (Electronic Design Automation) software developer who got turned on to Objective-C just in time for the launch of the iPhone SDK. In 2008 he founded the Silicon Valley iOS Developers' Meetup, which has become the largest monthly gathering of iOS developers anywhere. Events regularly feature presentations on design, business development, technical topics, and lots and lots of demos.

As an app developer, Tim consults with local companies, focusing on apps for enterprises, businesses, and media. Tim was the first iOS developer at Mobile Iron and helped Mobile Iron develop their highly-successful iOS device management solution.

Other projects include the ZipRealty iPhone and iPad apps, media apps for France Telecom, and The Daily Gift, an iPad app designed to spread stories about the power of organ donation during National Donate Life Month in
April 2011. Tim's company, Radtastical Inc, is based in Palo Alto, CA.

Dr. Eric Tao, Partner, Keytone Ventures 凯旋投资

Dr. Eric Tao is a partner and founding member of Keytone Ventures. His brings over 5 years of startup management experience and over 6 years of investment experience to the fund. Dr. Tao’s investment areas include wireless, internet, media, semiconductors and clean technologies. He has been involved in a number of companies including Borqs, Lattice Power, China Eastern Clean Energy, ZhongTe Logistics, Shangmail, Greatwall Software, AMEC, TechFaith (NASDAQ: CNTF). 

Prior to Keytone, Dr. Tao worked as a founding member of KPCB China team since 2007, covering mostly technology and clean-tech investments.  Prior to KPCB, Dr. Tao was an investment manager at Qualcomm Ventures, covering strategic venture investments globally, including applications/software/content, handset & wireless supply chain, infrastructure and enabling technologies.  Dr. Tao was significantly involved in two start-ups before starting his venture capitalist career.  He was a co-founder of an e-commerce comparison shopping portal, responsible for fundraising and operations; he also founded a clean energy start-up in the U.S. where he was responsible for fundraising and business development in China. 

Dr. Tao holds a BS from Tsinghua University, an MS and a PhD from Stanford University, both in engineering.  Dr. Tao holds three international patents and two U.S. patents.

Andy Yang, CEO, PlayHaven  

Andy Yang has over 10 years in leadership experience building businesses at various cross-sections of web, social, mobile, local, and gaming.  He is currently the President and CEO of PlayHaven, a real-time business platform for mobile games. 

Prior to PlayHaven, Andy was the COO of InstantAction, IAC/InterActiveCorp's online gaming company.  He led the acquisition oInstantAcquisition in his previous role as an executive in IAC's Strategy & M&A team leading their mobile and gaming initiatives. 

Andy was recruited to IAC after they had acquired Ask.com where he built several award-winning products in the local and mobile spaces. 

His career started at Sun Microsystems as a web engineer and architect after getting his B.S. in Computer Science at Stanford University.

Guy Vider, Co-founder of Armodello 

Guy is the CTO and co-founder of armodello, a startup that enables fashion and home design vendors to add augmented reality features to their existing catalogs, increasing their conversion rate. Guy's consulting company, the Traveling Tech Guy, provides mobile and web consulting, design and development services. In his free time, you can find Guy building cool apps at Hackathons, or learning a new technology.

Brendan Clavin, CTO, Tethras

Originally from a house near a crossroads, beside a hamlet, close to a very small village, beyond the resolution of Google Earth, Brendan escaped cosmopolitan Ireland and planted himself firmly in Silicon Valley. He was the first software engineer at Claris Ireland in 1990, set up the engineering tools team at Iona Software in 1995, built the localization department at Ariba in 1999, and was the first hire into the internationalization engineering team at Google in 2005.

Brendan is currently CTO at Tethras, a cloud based app localization and translation company. Tethras helps mobile app developers grow their businesses internationally, increasing downloads and sales to the delight of the non-English speaking consumers of the world. Tethras has enabled their customers to mobilize their apps and realize their full export potential by providing them the tools and services that easily and efficiently localize their apps.

Brendan fits right in with the Valley crowd with his collection of bicycles and Hawaiian shirts.

Perry Tam,  CEO and co-founder, Storm8

Perry Tam is the CEO and co-founder of Storm8, the leading social game developer on iPhone and Android with over 210 million downloads across 58 million devices. Having never taken funding, Storm8 is also the parent company of the TeamLava studio. Every title released by Storm8 and TeamLava has reached the Top 10 Free Apps in the Apple App Store. Prior to founding Storm8, Perry worked as an engineer at Facebook, where he led the payments team and architected Facebook Credits. The author of four patents, Perry received his undergraduate degree from Cornell University.

Bill Flynn - Vice President of Sales, Fiksu

Bill brings his entrepreneurial drive and ceaseless focus on the customer to his role of VP Sales; hard earned through his more than 25 years of experience building, growing and managing companies – many resulting in successful acquisitions or public offerings. Bill came to Fiksu from mindSHIFT Technologies, the nation's largest MSP where he was the Worldwide VP Corporate Marketing and GM of the SAAS division offering email and other business productivity applications to small and medium businesses. Prior to that, Bill was VP Sales and Marketing for Collaboration Online, Limited Company when it was acquired by mindSHIFT.

In his other VP of Sales positions at online powerhouses DirectoryM, LiveVault and Be Free, Bill consistently grew company revenues by insuring sales organizations were aligned with company and customer needs, and by successfully integrating direct sales, telesales and channel partners. Bill cut his teeth though various sales positions at Dragon Systems (now Nuance), Open Market and Alloy Computer Products. Bill earned a BS in business administration with a focus on marketing management from the University of Massachusetts Lowell.
