BO Yiqun , Vice Secretary-General at Mobile Internet Great Wall Club (GWC), has more than 10 years experience in China’s ICT industry. He is in charge of overseas development of GWC. Before joining GWC, he was Consulting & Research director at Plus Eight Star, leading cross-market research and strategy consulting company focused on Internet and Mobile innovation in China, Japan and Korea. He provided consulting service on strategic analysis, business model analysis, and innovation transfer. The clients he had served include MIH, Mitsui Global Strategic Studies Institute, Bouygues Telecom, Mobilkom, SK Telecom, Adidas, etc. BO Yiqun holds an MBA from Université Paris I. He speaks Chinese, English and French.
Jason Feinsmith, VP, Mobile Internet Infrastructure, Silicon Storage Technology
Jason Feinsmith is VP of Mobile Internet Infrastructure at SST. He manages several software teams, and works with major mobile operators in Europe and Asia. He is also involved with mobile standards committees including ETSI and GSMA's Smart SIM project. Previously, Jason was co-founder and CEO of Accomplice, a software company which he sold in 2008. Previously in other roles, Jason was an executive at SST responsible for growing their flash business unit to $300M, an associate in the VC industry, and he served in management at Xilinx and Intel. Jason began his Silicon Valley career in the 80's as a software design engineer. He has a BS from Cornell, and a CS masters and MBA from Stanford.
Jovan Hsu, Founding Partner, The Chinese Founders Fund
Dr. Jovan Hsu is the founder of Chinbid.com (1999), merged with Eachnet.com - later acquired by eBay (2003). He also founded The Chinese Founders Fund, a Green & T.M.T. - focused VC firm and Jovan Ventures, a T.M.T.-dedicated angel investment firm. Jovan’s investments include some of the early startups in the areas of DNS, C-C auction, online payment, search engine, digital publishing, and mobile services in China as well as e-commerce in Taiwan, green technology in Vietnam & Romania, and high-technology companies in the US. In Jovan’s book, entrepreneurs are the future of this world. Jovan chairs and serves on the boards of several companies in Asia and holds a Doctorate degree in Business Administration, sharing and exchanging information as a guest speaker in several universities. Up to date, there are at least 20 entrepreneurships invested by Jovan.
Benjamin Joffe, CEO, Plus Eight Star, China
Benjamin Joffe is a renowned expert on Asia’s digital scene. During the past 10 years, he has been part of Japan’s mobile revolution, Korea’s Internet boom and China’s mobile crash and web 2.0 revival. He is the Founder and CEO of the digital strategy consultancy +8* (www.plus8star.com), partner of the next-generation social gaming company Cmune (www.cmune.com) and founder of the Mobile Monday forum in Beijing.
Plus8Star’s clients include Microsoft, IMVU, Deutsche Telekom, the European Commission, Adidas, Harvard Business School and leading media companies as well as investment firms worldwide. Benjamin has been invited to keynote dozens of tech, media and investment events in 13 countries. He was selected among China’s Top 100 Mobile Industry Influencers in 2007 and 2008.

Michael Mace, Principle, Rubicon Consulting
Michael Mace is a principal at Rubicon Consulting, where he helps technology companies plan strategies and products. Clients include Nokia, Logitech, Yahoo, Adobe, and HP. He's a well-known tech industry speaker and commentator, and has appeared in the Wall Street Journal, BusinessWeek, and numerous tech industry publications.
Prior to Rubicon, he was vice president of product planning at Palm, and was also chief competitive officer at Palm and PalmSource, where he worked closely with operators and handset manufacturers to plan for the future of mobile data. Prior to joining Palm, he served as vice president of marketing for Softbook Press, a leader in the creation of ebook devices and publishing systems; and director of marketing for Silicon Graphics' Windows products division. Michael held a variety of leadership positions at Apple Computer, including director of Mac platform marketing, director of marketing for the Home and Education Division, and director of Market Intelligence. He also founded a software firm and has worked as a journalist. Michael holds a degree in international relations from UCLA.
Jeff Merkel, Vice President and Managing Director, APLA, AdMob
As Vice President and Managing Director of Asia-Pacific & Latin America for AdMob, Jeff is responsible for the company’s strategy, operations and expansion across Asia-Pacific and Latin America. Prior to joining AdMob, Jeff was Director of Market Development for Motorola where he was responsible for sell in, commercialization, and marketing of media solutions and services (including SCREEN3) to operators and retail markets globally. Previously, Jeff was a marketing manager at Apple Computer, a business development manager for a wireless payment startup in Singapore and a management consultant for Price Waterhouse in United States and in Europe. Jeff holds BA from Taylor University and an MBA from the Stanford Graduate School of Business.
Rob Trice, Senior Managing Director, SK Telecom Ventures
Rob Trice brings a variety of domestic and international investing and business experience to SK telecom ventures. Prior to joining SK telecom ventures, he was a co-founding Partner of Nokia Growth Partners, the global growth-stage venture capital arm of Nokia with US$350m under management for direct and fund-to-fund investing. From late 2000 until the end of 2004, he worked at Nokia Venture Partners (now BlueRun Ventures) on early-stage venture investments in the US and overseas. Previously, he worked at DIRECTV in Los Angeles and Tokyo in a variety of operational and business planning roles. Rob also worked as an international policy analyst at a Washington, D.C. based think tank, the Center for Strategic & International Studies. He holds a Master of Arts from George Mason University and a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Virginia. Rob is based in Menlo Park, California.
