The Future Patent Landscape in China

The Chinese Patent Law is set for a third set of major amendments. Targeted for completion in 2008, this selfinitiated amendment process is based on preparatory work started in 2005. This round of Patent Law drafting process will be an excellent opportunity for China to address issues in the current Chinese patent system raised by users at home and abroad.
