The landscape of mobile device market is continuing
evolving with new features and applications. Nowadays not only business
executives and employees use advanced mobile devices, but younger people are
also interested in owning these feature-packed mobiles. As a result keeping up
with what is the cutting edge in mobile device becomes make-or-break business
for those who would like to stay ahead in mobile device design, manufacturing
and consumer market.
From PDAs to iPhone, smart mobile devices offer a
rich set of functions. Besides the basic PIM functions of being used as a
calculator, a clock, a calendar, an address book, and even a radio or stereo,
these devices also enable sending and receiving emails, video recording, simple
word processing, gaming, and synchronization with your PC to keep you up to the
second with your business and social life. Many mobile devices are equipped to
access the Internet via Wi-Fi enabling web browsing and even VoIP. One of the
most significant characteristic of newer mobile devices is the presence of a
touch screen. This also opens room for usability improvements, hardware support
for new generation of mobile device user interface, and new mobile
applications.
Join us, along with industry leaders, in an
innovative presentation and panel discussion on future trend and what is hot in
mobile devices:
-- How to improve ease of use for mobile
devices?
-- What is the cutting edge in hardware support for a
true mobile user experience: evolution from keyboard to touch screen and other
mobile input methods?
-- What is the hardware protection for lost cell
phone?
-- What are the storage implications for applications
and data content on mobile devices? Where does it go?
-- What is the development in extending battery
life?
-- How will cell phones, PDAs, iPods (multi-media
devices) converge with new products like the iPhone or with future mobile
devices?
-- What is the competitive strategy for the latest
value added features for mobile devices such as video camera, GPS, Mobile TV and
VoIP?
-- Will style become an important factor for our
future mobile devices? What does the younger generation like?
-- How will the international market react to the
newer mobile devices?
